Dorms or Apartment?

Hello! I’m looking for some advice 🙇‍♀️
(incoming SILS student - 26’-27’)

I have been accepted for an apartment a six minute walk away from the main campus, crunching some numbers it’s in my budget for what I’m willing to spend for housing.

At the same time, I just recently got accepted for Hoshien building 3. I am a very social person and really don’t like the “no guest allowed” rule at Hoshien 3 and it’s really making me indecisive about my housing situation!

I plan to join a circle or two and am taking CJL classes but I still worry about making friends quickly.

The apartment (thru UniLife) and dorm are very close to each other in price so it’s not a factor for me.

What would you guys recommend? 😓
