so, shipped my first app after a few months of building solo. it's Picstreak – you swipe through your photo library Tinder-style (left – delete, right – keep), and there's a daily streak so you actually come back and finish the cleanup instead of bailing after 200 photos *guilty*

funny thing – the swiping itself turned out to be the easy part. all the pain lives in PhotoKit + Swift 6 strict concurrency: performChanges runs on its own queue, PHFetchResult is not Sendable, and the change observer just traps at runtime if you trust the u/MainActor annotation in the SDK *thanks Apple*. half of my git history is fix(trash) commits at this point :)

free on the App Store – [https://apps.apple.com/us/app/picstreak-photo-cleaner/id6779991411](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/picstreak-photo-cleaner/id6779991411)

want to poke at everything without the free limits – this invite unlocks the full app for 7 days: [https://picstreak.app/invite/P3DZ5KBS](https://picstreak.app/invite/P3DZ5KBS)

what i'm after – honest feedback on design and usability. does the swipe deck feel natural? is the streak motivating or just annoying?

and the one thing i can't judge from the inside – is the free tier generous enough to hook you, or does it feel like a crippled demo?

happy to test your app in return :)

launched my first iOS app today — a Tinder-style photo cleaner. roast my design/UX please
