Why is the game down

I'm wondering because I heard there was a detox attack and I'm wondering if this is related to it or if it's just like an update that is causing the servers to be down because I've been wanting to play this for a while and I just found my Android and the servers are down this post is not meant to be mean or hate on the creators. In any way at all, by the way.
