I finally get why people love cosplaying

I have been going to cons for a long time, but never cosplayed. I was convinced by my friend's wife to wear an anime wig. This idea escalated to full cosplay. I found the Sakamoto wig from Sakamoto days on Amazon, and just went with it. When I passed thru the first security barrier near the West Hall, and the security guard goes, "right this way Mr. Sakamoto" and we fist bumped, I had the Biggest smile on my face. It is so fun. I had so much fun interacting with other fans. A rep from the Sakamoto Days booth called me over to try out the booth. I loved taking pics with my friends in cosplay. It was just so damn fun, probably some of the most fun I have ever had at a con. I'm looking thru all the photos and just can't stop laughing at what I look like. I just wanted to share this feeling with all of you. To all the cosplayers that build, sew, create, and bring to life these anime characters, I get it. I always knew that cosplaying can be very difficult, but man I truly had no idea. But thank you for letting me rant.
