hello! i've never worn makeup before and am looking for 3 product recommendations

my step mom told me i should learn make up since i want to work in a client-facing industry, so i think i should buy 1 mascara, 1 blush, and 1 lipstick that can 'show [i] put effort into yourself'

does anyone have any inexpensive brands that are cruelty free and ideally won't break me out? i really do not need anything fancy at all, i don't really event want to wear make up but i think i have to so as long as it sends a message
