Preface that we have gotten \*\*a lot\*\* of new visitors to the sub lately. Thank you to all, but it's also clear that some are misplaced.

Obsessive Love isn't the same as regular loneliness and wanting a relationship. It's about pining that hurts the soul, pouring blood and everything you've got into your love. The willingness to do things that go against your moral compass, the willingness to let them hurt you if it meant you could see them be happy. The desperation, the pain, clawing at yourself begging to be seen as perfect for them.

We are not your fetish. The dream of the yandere girl being so obsessed with you she locks you away from all your problems? You don't want a yandere, you want an escape. And we are REAL people with real obsessive tendencies, trust issues, trauma, illnesses, etc. Everyone's stories and experiences are so different. But we are all real people that want reciprocal love, not a one-sided fantasy. If you want to view us like "Wife Material" as I've seen so many new commenters say, you've clearly missed the point.

If you are confused as to why your post or comment was taken down, it probably falls into these categories: romanticizing/fetishizing obsession, looking to date people here, general relationship (or sexual) posting completely unrelated to obsession, or general toxicity. And as always !!! Please report posts, comments, or users that make you feel uncomfortable.<3
