Possible allergic reaction to Wolverine stack
I have a joint injury, and tried to use the Wolverine stack (BPC-157 & TB-500) to hopefully speed up tendon recovery. I got vials from two sources, reconstituted one with 2ml BAC water and used 10 units subQ.
The first injection didn't cause anything at all. No soreness, injection site reaction, etc. After that I was away for the weekend, so I had two days without dosing.
On the Monday after the weekend, I use the same dose, injecting in the morning. That night, about 12h later, I got hives all over my body and my upper lip swelled up. It was controllable with OTC antihistamines.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't anything I ate, because I deliberately ate the same stuff on subsequent days with no reaction. I don't think it was a reaction to stopping antihistamines, which I had been on for seasonal allergies and had stopped over the weekend. I'm currently off antihistamines and don't have hives. That pretty much leaves the peptides.
The thing that bothers me about that idea is the 12h delay between injection and the symptoms kicking off. I would have expected a reaction more or less immediately, not half a day later.
I got rid of the vial from that supplier. I'm curious how likely it is that the reaction was to the peptides vs. BAC water vs. some other contamination in the vial. Is it worth trying the other vial, from a different supplier? I know other people have had hives while using peptides. If that's you, how did you handle it?
