Sick cat advice needed
Hey yall, I'm asking for a general opinion for a little situation I have with my girlfriends cat. She moved in and brought her 2 cats with her, The black cat Ryker is the one whos having issues. Ryker loves drinking water, i have a water fountain he loves drinking out of, i refilled it last week and within 2 minutes of me filling he knocked it over and spilled a ton of water on my carpet, so i just didnt fill it for a few days because i live in a apartment and cannot afford to lose my deposit because a little shit decided to knock over his water source. Since i didnt fill that, he started drinking out of the toilet which has a Lysol cleaning cleanser in it. for 3 noticable days now he has not been eating, hes been drinking SOME fluids but hes incredibly lethargic and seems like he can barley hold himself up.
Ive been begging her toi let me take him to the vet but she doesnt want to pay that vet bill or risk the fact that he will magically get over it. I know the common mass here are not vets and will strongly suggest we take him to the vet, but is there anything i can do to help his symptoms? I feel like im watching this cat die but since hes not my cat i cant just scoop him up and take him to the vet.
