First time landing a marketing job

I just landed a job at a food place to run their social media - starting pretty much from zero - to offline marketing ideas. The goal is simple, more followers, more customers. I know how to make attractive and aesthetically pleasing content, but I know that this is not all it takes to be successful. What advice would you give me as a person who has done this only on amateur level? How should I structure my marketing plan to see gradual growth? Anything helps, thank you!
