Can you have a pet in cabin on OAL?

My airline (AS) does not fly directly to the city I’m moving to, I was wondering if UA and AA allow for OAL employees that are non revving to pay for a pet in cabin?

I would prefer to avoid the two four hour flights from Chicago to Austin if possible.

Thanks for any insight or responses. 😄
