Gray mount Area- North Belfast

I’m from a nationalist background and looking at houses currently. Is graymount area safe? Saw some reasonably priced houses looked great but I’m worried the area is too close to shore road. I’ve lived in cliftonville in north for the past 6 years and never had any bother despite it being rough.
