My latest find... the ADLER 189A

This tank came to me with the usual story... from a deceased family member's estate. Working condition unknown. She arrived today, all 60 lbs of her😱. To my surprise all she needed was oil and a new motor belt and she's up and running. It also came with the elusive steel cams. The manual states there were four cams produced. Mine came with six, plus three duplicates totaling nine cams. Records on this machine are scarce, so who knows what really came with this machine. This is my first Adler. She purrs and makes a beautiful stitch. It is the most smooth running machine I have had. Even at full speed it doesn't vibrate or walk across the table. Stitch quality is equal, if not slightly superior, to my Pfaff 332 which a machine from this same era.
