Did sunny never talked back to his past self?

Genuinely questioning guy maybe I forgot or something because I don't remember sunny talking back to his past self when he goes to the tomb.

if he doesn't talk to his past self who was the version he talked to in his third nightmare like how did he talk back to the future which didn't exist.

it feels like a paradox or is it a plot hole or maybe sunny will talk to his past self but later when he again visits tomb or something can someone just tell me what is going on.
