So, what are you expecting from the Evangelion Raids?

Now that the hype for this crossover has died down a little bit, I was thinking about how they'd incorporate things into the game itself. Below are some of my thoughts of things I'd expect to see when it comes to the Plot, the fights, and the loot we might get. Just because I loved Eva when I was younger and thought it would be fun to share thoughts on what we'd get. None of these things are stuff I'm saying MUST happen, but what I think is most likely or possible to happen.

Plot

• The reason Nerv/Selee will be interested in us will be for our fighting ability. Being a Godslayer will help with the Angels in the case of Nerv and would be something that Selee would be interested in for the 'Evolution' they seek.

• We'll likely only deal two angels within the story, three at most. I can't see them putting all the Angels into the raid unless they're being cloned or something and even then, some seem like they'd be hard to work in. And when I say 'deal with', I fully expect one of them to be a full cutscene/solo duty instead of being part of the raid.

• While all the pilots will be shown, Rei and Shinji will be the focus. Rei because her unique aspects would be an excellent jumping point for a story and Shinji because there's no chance in hell the WoL is going to leave the poor boy floundering.

• The vast majority of our enemies within the Raids themselves will likely be human military, especially towards the END of the raids. If you know how Evangelion ends, you know.

• The Elevator Scene will happen in the cut scenes. We've done it before in our own game back in ARR and it's a famous scene in Eva.

Fights

• I'm expecting us to fight at least ONE of the Evas, likely within the first Raid. My bets on Units 00 or 01, considering the story elements involved in the original story, but they might throw a curveball at us and give us Unit 03.

• Selee will be one of the Major bosses themselves, likely towards the end if not THE end of the Raids. If I had to guess a how/why, I'd say they'd fuse themselves with the Mass Produced Evas.

• The Seventh Angel, Israfel, will likely be one of the ones used if only because it'll grant the devs the opportunity have a two boss fight. If this IS the case, I 100% hope that the music from that particular fight in the anime (DANCE IF YOU WANNA WIN) will be included. That would be a dream~

Loot

• Plug suits. This WILL be the '2B Leggings' of this raid and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise!

• Pen Pen will likely be a pet. Probably in the second raid, since that'll give us story time to introduce him if we're just thrown into the first half of the raid without warning.

• The Spear of Longinus will likely be a Dragoon Weapon. It's such an Iconic thing I can't see them passing this up.

• A Cruel Angel Thesis Final Fantasy Mix that will be part of the Quest rewards, because I can't see them holding that back for everyone.
