Millions of Americans didn't call FIFA... we didn't ask for this.

Americans have loved having the World Cup here and we've welcomed everyone. It's been a joy. We've been very proud to see our USMNT play so well in the world's game. Our boys have worked hard and so many Americans are watching and excited to see if all their hard work and heart can lead to something historic for our program. We did not ask for this. Millions of Americans did not call for FIFA to do this. 27% of this country are MAGA. They're mostly older. Know any older loved ones in your country that have turned a bit racist and scared in this rapidly changing world awash in shitty social media and a worldwide surge in fascism? That's us too. Now the whole world hates us and our team? This is on FIFA. I screamed my heart out for Cape. I wore my England jersey to support a team full of my favorite Prem players last night against Mexico. Our boys are going out on the pitch tonight to play their heart out against a top European team. We're just trying to move forward after this whole debacle. This really isn't America vs the world. We just want to root for our boys and play our best football.
