Leaside: Sunnybrook Park Sports Pavillion Washrooms Closed, Why?

Went to Sunnybrook Park to workout at the sports field. And the washrooms in the Sports Pavillion were closed. Is this normal in the summer on weekdays? I'm not one for using Port-a-Pottys and its quite distance to the other washrooms.

I wonder why the City would have them closed.
