One year with the Mirena experience.

This has been such a long year with the Mirena. I initially wanted to get it as it was the easiest BC option for me out of all the options. But now I feel like I was better off without it. My main reason was for using it as a birth control, but having it completely stop the bleeding. If anything, I went from 5 days of bleeding pre-Mirena to 10 days of bleeding smaller amounts. My cramps have gotten 5x worse, and they are accompanied with bad nausea. The nausea got so bad at one point, I really thought I was pregnant. I'm really thinking of taking it out and trying to go the natural way with monitoring my cycle and using condoms during sex. What has been your year experience, and if you had similar side effects, did you keep it in or take it out?
