Doginal Dogs threw a real event at the Venetian
When I tell people NFT projects do 'events' they picture a metaverse booth or a discord call. DDVegas was a real multi-day thing at The Venetian in Las Vegas. Real venue, real people, self-funded. They've done 20+ of these now, Vegas, NYC, Miami, Toronto.
and this is the part that matters: once you've actually met people from a community irl, you don't dip the second the chart turns red. that's why this community is stickier than most. DDNYC's next, this september, already sold out. went to one and it genuinely changed how i saw the project.
