How long does it take to get the permit? STEP 1

Hello, there was a delay due to a problem at my medical school with creating an account on ECFMG. This delayed me from June 17th until now. Yesterday, the request was approved, and the matter is now under the responsibility of FSMB. When I called them, they told me they received the approval yesterday (Sunday, July 5th) and that it will take 7-10 days to issue the permit. Do I really have to wait that long, or does it usually come faster?
