Hey r/droidappshowcase!

Solo indie dev here — I just shipped my 2nd app - Breach Watchdog, an Android app that checks whether your emails and passwords have shown up in known data breaches. Everything sensitive stays on your phone.

What makes it different:

* K-anonymity password checks — your full password never leaves the device. Only a partial hash prefix is sent; matching finishes locally
* Three breach databases for email — checks HIBP, LeakCheck, and XposedOrNot
* Exposure risk score — see how exposed you are across all monitored addresses, with prioritized next steps
* Background monitoring — get notified when a new breach hits one of your addresses
* No ads, no tracking, no backend storing your data

Tiers:

* Free — 3 manual checks per week
* Pro — monitor up to 10 addresses, home screen widget, rapports

GIVEAWAY 🎁

100× 1-year Pro subscriptions for the first 100 people to comment below. Drop any comment and I’ll DM you a promo code.

Redeeming requires Google Sign-In — that’s how the subscription is tied to your account so Pro+ survives re-installs and device switches. Google data isn’t used for anything else.

Built with Kotlin + Jetpack Compose. This is my second app, so honest feedback is very welcome. AMA!
