Need advice/to vent on vets

My cat who is 4 years old was diagnosed with liver failure this weekend and the vets we have around us will not do any flexible payments. They all want $10k up front for hospitalization or they want to put her down. I feel like these vets aren’t giving her a chance or any sympathy. We had $2k to give because we thought that would be enough just for a checkup and treatment but every time we speak to them the price goes higher and I don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t want to put her down because she’s still relatively in her early stages but the vets in my city don’t do any finance or flexible payments.
