Has Anyone with a Compressed Disc Tried an Inversion Table? Did It Help?

I have chronic lower back pain from a compressed disc and have been researching different ways to relieve it. I recently came across inversion tables and was wondering if anyone with a compressed or herniated disc has tried one.
