Three signs a community-first algorithm is actually working

Hey everyone,

A quick framework for discussion.

If an algorithm is really community-first, it should probably do three things well:

  1. Help creators reach people who are likely to come back.
  2. Reward repeat engagement, not only first-click spikes.
  3. Leave room for slower but stronger growth patterns.

On the Clapper app, that is much closer to how we think discovery should work. The goal should not just be attention. It should be audience connection.

What would you add or change in that framework?
