Honest feelings on this sumemrfest.
Let me start this off with: I have been playing this game since 2017. I appreciate all the work that goes into it, and the time spent on it. This is not direct hate to the devs.. it is more so a question of 'Why?'
This update had so much potential. The map is gorgeous, all the pets are beautiful, the toys and cars actually had thought behind them.. but what were the devs thinking? No mini games at all? 4 robux pets? It's gotten out of hand. It feels like they are focusing more on the money they can make, than the overall satisfaction of players in general..and it hurts to see, I can't lie. It's disappointing. Now, of course, workers have to be paid..I get that, but, there are no mini games which makes the normal pets harder to obtain for people who have lives, jobs, school, and other responsibilities. Making 4 robux pets in one event while making it harder for the average player to grind for event currency is an objectively bad choice for a game marked towards teens and kids. Anyone who disagrees with that needs a reality check.
People claim they made the update this way to "stop bot farming." Nonsense. This is the MOST bot farmable update in adopt me's history. Why? Real players CAN'T GET ANYTHING!!! This means players that use bots are profiting off of the average players lack of time and ability to obtain pets from the update. The devs made the bot situation WORSE, which I did not think was possible.
The worst part is the people defending these choices! You are all actually weird for jumping on and hating on valid criticism. If there was no criticism, the game would literally die, because there would be no room for improvement from the devs. You also have to think: do you want more updates to be like this in the future? 4 or more robux pets, robux vehicles, and no mini games to grind? I doubt that after this event they will do this again, but if no one complained.. they might have. That is the power of constructive criticism and feedback.
Thank you for reading! Sorry for any spelling or grammar errors, I'm playing with my cat lol.
