Video & Games Stop Working After Switching To Optical Audio Out
Basically over the last couple of months my video playback completely stops working. I seem to have narrowed it down to when I switch to my Optical Out port, I never used to have this issue as I switched between my headset and speakers no problem.
Bu when I switch from my speakers to my headset or monitor speakers and then back again my video playback stops. I can't watch anything, offline files or streaming.
If I reinstall my Nvidia drivers it starts working until I switch outputs again, then the same issue. It all stops even if I switch back to a output that worked before.
I have run sfc but it comes back clean, I've reinstalled my gpu and audio drivers multiple times but the same keeps happening. Do you think it's either a Windows Update or Nvidia driver issue, both, or something else?
I will report this issue to both parties just incase it is one of them, just wanted to ask here too if anyone else has or had this issue and knows of a solution
Thanks Everyone, if you need to know anything about my build, let me know
