what should I do with
For context, I am a bi girl currently crushing on her best friend. I have known her since middle school. Since then, we have been talking a lot via text. We also sometimes hang out. Both of our families are familiar with this "friendship". But lately I have been experiencing a crush on her. It gets to a point where I am constantly dreaming of me and her being together.
I asked her if she ever has any crushes on girl. She told me that she is straight. I even came out to her as bi. Her response, however, was not that supportive. She told me that it could just be "hormones", that LGBTQ+ people are "selfish", and they end up being "more depressed". I think what makes the situation more confusing is the fact that she HAS gay friends. I don't think she is exactly homophobic. Or actually idk, I'm really confused. She has still been very friendly to me and we still hang out. I think she doesn't mind me being bisexual.
I will say she does come from a very religious family and I honestly think she is starting to become religious too. Don't get me wrong, I am also from a religious family, but I'm not fully religious myself, especially with me being bi.
For a bit more context, we are both a part of a friend group. However, she is homeschooled and the rest of the friend group goes to my school. So if anything happens to the both of us, the friend group will not be affected that much.
Alright sry for the rant. Ik that the information is a bit scattered but I really need some advice on what I should do next. Should I confess my feelings for her or I try to distance myself. Or for whatever option is best, maybe share some tips to help with the transition.
