when people say “I can’t wait for the Netflix documentary” when something horrible happens or is discovered

I think it so gross when people bring up a future documentary to something that just happened or discovered. For example, that family in Ohio with 16 kids. All people are talking about is an exploitative shitty documentary. No cares that these are real people. Those children are real. All people seem to want is entertainment with twist and turns they can drunkly watch in the middle of the night.
