Dark tint on certain types of cars

I live in Alabama and the legal limit is 32. I drive a black 2024 Nissan Altima. I was looking to get 20, but part of me feels that dark tint on this particular make and model of car will illicit extra police eyes on my car. Am I being paranoid, or is this a legit issue?
