Heads up!! How to use (Amazon) sezzle spend, Learn from my mistake

Ive had a sezzle account for a while now but never actually used the sezzle spend they’d email me about because I never understood how to use it. So last week, I decided to go for it. I added the amount I needed, they created a card, I placed an order after being told the sezzle spend would automatically be applied when the order ships. Well..that didn’t happen. I’m stuck making the full payment amount every two weeks womp womp

BUT

I reached out to customer service and they told me to wait a few business days. Those days passed. Still no update and I still have to make the full payment amount. Eventually, they issued me another $60 sezzle spend to use on another purchase. “Unfortunately, it cannot be applied to previous orders.” Is what they stated.

Here’s what I did the second time to ACTUALLY get this sezzle spend money. Bought a $60 amazon gift card. That’s it. Had it texted to my phone number and was able to use it within 5 minutes. So if you’re wondering if it’s a scam or if it’s actually difficult, I’m here to say it’s not a scam (even though they messed up my first order), and it is relatively easy. JUST GET THE GIFT CARD. Yes, I am a little frustrated about my first order and the lack of reasoning for its failure, but I was able to get some necessities with the gift card so it’s okay. ((Also, I did have to pay like a $1 for the subscription, so not completely free, but also not a big deal at all))
