Valensole Lavender Tour on July 9th - Cancel or Not?

Hi everyone,

I will be in Aix en Provence on 9th July and booked a Valensole lavender tour with À la Français on GetYourGuide and I have been very excited about it for a long time. However, I heard that a lot of lavender in Valensole are being pruned now due to the heatwave/ hot summer this year. I am not sure in this case if I shall cancel the tour or still go… does anyone have experience with this or know what is the current lavender field situation in Valensole? Also not sure if à la français have experience knowing which parts of Valensole still have lavender. It will be a bit disappointing if they are all pruned by the time I get there. Suggestions appreciated 😊
