Going solo und deciding between Camping or Hostel + spontaneously getting tickets

Hello everyone!

I (29/F) was planning a solo trip to Budapest from 11.08. - 16.08. and just saw that during this time, Sziget will take place. Since I wanted to visit another festival this year anyway, I am thinking of just going there alone. My plan is to get a Day-Pass for Thursday (hoping it will not be THAT crowded in comparison to Fri/Sat) and go back to my hostel at night/morning. I already read that trams/busses are going 24/7. Can you recommend hostels which are nearby those tram/bus lines? I was planning on Maverick but it looks like there could be a better location. I also heard about Carpe Noctem a lot, but seems like it closed?

I was also thinking that if I really like it, to spontaneously get another day-pass for Friday. Is it usually possible to buy your ticket on the same day or is it usually sold out?

I already ruled out camping, since I am traveling by train (7h) and I am not that much into carrying all my camping equipment alone. I also wont pay 100+ € for a pre-setup tent :D

Would be great if any experienced Sziget-goers could provide some tips :)
