Is bbq chicken fr rub mossy salt?

You know those famous rotisserie chicken rubs that you buy is the red colour cayenne or paprika with loads of salt? I don’t find it very spicy but salty. Use too much at home and it can get overpowering with sodium but the store cooked ones comes out pretty much perfectly seasoned.
