I hate dogs and the dogs where I live keep amplifying my distain for them

I used to want a dog of my own as a kid, but I changed my mind after seeing how most dogs really behave as an adult. My neighborhood is completely lawless because animal control does absolutely nothing about it.

Bad Dog owners are worse than domestic terrorists in my opinion, and some dog breeds are naturally insufferable, despite proper training.

I have been bit by a neighbor's dog at least once in my life, and I have been knocked off my bike by dogs that were not on leashes twice. I saw one very aggressive dog chase an Amazon delivery driver get chased out of the neighborhood once. Texas dog owners seem to be the worst dog owners in the entire country, and other states I lived in / visited weren't as bad as Texas.

The fact that some people treat their own children the same as their dogs absolutely horrifies me when I think about it. I try to respect dog owners the same as everyone else, but it's very hard since my metaphorical bar keeps being raised as I get older.

I'd rather deal with a shitty parent who lets their kid scream for hours on a long-haul airline flight than deal with an entitled dog owner.
