Why some moderators on reddit are so heartless?

I'm genuinely saddened to see my post was removed in an African grey subreddit. I spent a long time writing it because it was a very personal story about my African Grey parrot, Mitthu, and the lessons I learned from losing him.💔

My intention wasn't to break any rules, promote anything, or cause problems. I simply wanted to share my experience, honor his memory, and hopefully help other bird owners avoid the mistake that I made.

If the post violated a rule that I misunderstood, I respect the moderators' decision. However, it does hurt to see something so personal removed after finally finding the courage to talk about it publicly.

For years, I've avoided discussing Mitthu online because the memories are still painful. This was one of the first times I opened up about him, and I hoped others in the community might understand. Regardless, I appreciate everyone who took the time to read my story and show kindness.
