Tired of fixing broken AAFs and OMFs before you can actually work in Logic

Hey r/Logic_Studio,

Sound engineer here, been working between Logic and Reaper for a while. One thing was driving me crazy: receiving an AAF or OMF from an editor (Premiere, Resolve, Avid, whatever) and discovering on import that half the tracks are missing, regions are out of sync, or stereo randomly becomes mono. The only reliable fix I had found was bouncing through Pro Tools to "clean" the file before opening it in Logic. Except PT is expensive, and honestly, losing 15 minutes doing a round-trip just to open a file kills the session before you've even started mixing.

So I built a tool to fix that directly, without going through Pro Tools.

It takes the AAF or OMF straight from the editing software, rebuilds the timeline cleanly (re-links media, handles stereo, cleans or preserves fades depending on what you choose), and outputs a file that Logic (or Reaper) opens correctly on the first try. It also displays a summary of what's in the source file.

It's in beta, free to use, and I'm looking for people to test it and tell me what breaks. Link in the comments if you're interested.
