WHY must people yawn loudly and repeatedly???!!!

The person in the shared accommodation I live in has just yawned out loud at least 5 times in the last 2 minutes. I now have what can only be described as an infernal rage inside me. I'll end up pulling a muscle or something from how much my body tenses up when I hear it.
