What type of SKILLS might parents be looking at for their kids?

So I plan on tutoring kids (like middle school kids) to save up for college and stuff. I am really good at english and particularly the writing part. I even freelance copywriting and article writing. So I was wondering if I tutor particular skills rather than school subjects cuz many parents are aware of how important it is to have nice skills developed from a young age. Some skills I thought were research skills, essay writing, article writing, general articulation of ideas, etc. I will deffo work on my skills tb tk too, but I wanna know ur opinions
