So how do you know you being hit on?

Being the way I am, I dont really understand subtext or coversational queues. As a result, I dont think I would notice if I was hit on unless they wrapped a half brick in sock and took a swing.

And maybe had a bit of a run up.....

Whats been the best? The worst? The Cringe? What do I look out for? Or avoid?
