I'm building a language app where you play a detective — and the AI agents are your suspects. You interrogate them to solve the case.

The hardest problem wasn't teaching languages — it was keeping myself engaged. Every app felt like homework: streaks, flashcards, guilt.

So I built Hinty Talk around AI agents instead. They're not tutors — they're characters. They text you first, they call you, they have their own lives. You just... talk to them, and the language sticks because the conversation is actually going somewhere.

Now I'm building the part I'm most excited about: detective mode. The agents become suspects in a mystery. You're the inspector. You interrogate them — in the language you're learning — catch them contradicting each other, and solve the case. Your vocabulary is literally your investigation tool.

Here's a short demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PZtVDCjJ9c

It's free to try (web + Android + iOS). And since Reddit feedback is worth gold to me — big discount for anyone from this thread, just mention Reddit when you sign up or DM me for a code.

Brutal feedback very welcome. What would make YOU actually come back to a language app every day?
