Is Print on Demand dropshipping?

Hello! Im making this post on behalf of a friend since she doesn't have Reddit..

My friend and I are conserned that her PoD products, despite having her art on there that SHE PUT HERSELF, is considered drop-shipping and many people would turn away. Unfortunately, were both in university and we are trying to find creative ways to sell so we can make some side money for tuition.

Ive considered doing this for my own Etsy with my own art, but seeing how dropshipping is frowned upon (rightfully so), both of us are conserned its in that category and we didnt know. Any thoughts?
