Focus Forge
Hey everyone. I'm working on an AI-powered study app, and I'd really love your honest opinions before I build the full version.
The goal isn't just to make another note-taking app. I want to build a personal AI study assistant that helps students study smarter, not just harder.
Here's how it would work:
A student can scan handwritten or printed notes with their phone's camera. The AI reads the notes, organizes them into easy-to-understand summaries, highlights the most important points, explains difficult topics in simple language, and creates quizzes and flashcards automatically.
The app then builds a personalized study plan based on how much time the student has before a test. As the student studies, the AI tracks their progress, identifies weak areas, and adjusts the study plan to focus on topics that need more practice.
The AI tutor would answer questions at any time, explain concepts in different ways if the student doesn't understand, and give practice questions similar to what could appear on an exam based on the material the student uploaded.
To make studying more enjoyable, students earn points by completing study sessions, quizzes, and goals. Those points unlock educational games, achievements, rewards, and new challenges so learning feels more motivating instead of boring.
The app would also include a focus coach, distraction blocker, motivation messages, progress reports, reminders, and voice conversations with the AI so students can study in whatever way works best for them.
My dream is to create one app that combines everything a student needs in one place instead of using five or six different apps.
I'd love your honest feedback.
Would you use something like this?
Which features sound the most useful?
What would you add, remove, or improve?
Is there anything that would make this app stand out from every other study app?
I'm open to all opinions, even critical ones. I'd rather improve the idea now than after it's launched. Thanks!
