Flocking - Ways to keep it from wearing off?

So I'm in the midst of a 1/12 BJD project and plan to flock the lower legs and feet-paws. I plan to use Plaid's "Folk Art Velvet Crush" 2-part kit. My concern, of course, is having the flocking on the feet rub off where it interacts with the bottom of the leg piece. The doll won't have shoes (because big feet paws) and at the size it's at, I don't really anticipate having to move the feat all too much, but I plan on bringing the doll with me places for photos.

I'm curious if anyone has any experience with this kind of thing and how quickly it could wear away. Thankfully I'm not blending colors or anything so any touch-ups should be easy to do, but I'd prefer it not be wearing off every couple of weeks.
