Is it normal for advertisements to make me feel depressed?

I feel like ads depress me:

BUY THIS, INVEST IN THIS, USE A-I, USE THIS—THIS IS THE FUTURE.

Fake people with fake smiles asking me to use something I hate—something that will only make me more unhappy.

Sometimes I just want to listen to music to feel good, but then I see that, and it brings me down.
