Keep seeing 8989? Here’s what it means (Vedic take)
I’ve been studying Vedic numerology for a while, and 8989 kept showing up in my own life until I finally sat down with it. The number 8 appears twice, and in Jyotish, 8 is Saturn—karma, discipline, slow but certain reward. The 9 appears twice, too, which is Mars—courage, completion, the fire to close a chapter. The sum is 34, which reduces to 7, and 7 belongs to Ketu, the south lunar node. Ketu is all about detachment, spirituality, and moksha (liberation). So 8989 basically says: you’re finishing some karmic work, and the spiritual depth you’ve built along the way is the real prize. It’s less about getting something and more about letting go of what is no longer needed.
If you’re curious, I wrote the full breakdown here: https://enlightenmentu.com/seeing-8989-angel-number-meaning/. Hope it helps someone else who’s been seeing it.
