Is it worth it?

Is buying dead dead redemption 1 and 2 worth it? I’ve been recommended it many times and heard many good things about it. It’s on sale for a bundle at 40$ that ends in a day. I’m asking just to make sure it’s worth it because I don’t like spending money on games, but really want a good story game to play and this being on sale may be what I need. Thank you.
