Looking for a technical co-founder (Bay Area)
Hey everyone, I am a student at UC Berkeley. I am currently a few weeks into building the MVP for a real product in restaurant financial intelligence. Already have validation from an actual operator. Not going to over explain the idea here, happy to go deep in DMs with the right person.
I am looking for a partner that can help me bring this to reality faster and more efficiently. This is a founding, equity role, not a paid gig. I’m looking for someone in a similar spot. Genuinely excited about startups, building companies, and the whole game of getting funded and making real money. Someone who’s ready to actually build, not just talk about building.
Beyond that I care most about:
- Values. Someone honest, low ego, who does right by people even when it costs something.
- Communication. Direct, no passive aggressive stuff, comfortable disagreeing openly.
- Work ethic. Moves fast, follows through, doesn’t need to be chased.
- Mindset. Long term thinking, not attached to being right, genuinely wants to build something real.
Ideally 19 to 23, Bay Area or willing to be here. Some technical chops preferred but character matters more than stack. Bonus if you golf.
If this sounds like you, DM me. Tell me a bit about yourself and what you’re working on or interested in. This is something we build together, grow together, and figure out together, every step of the way.
