High-Dose Powder Taper: How’s This Look?

I’m looking for feedback on my taper off long-term, high-dose powder.

Been on 8-9 years.

I was over 100 GPD for years, but 70 GPD has been my usual dose for about a year now.

Over the past week I dropped from 70 GPD to 40 GPD, held there for 5 days, and now I’m at 37.5 GPD in 5 daily doses.

Current schedule:

37.5 GPD = 7.5g x 5 doses

My rough taper idea from here:

37.5 GPD for 5 days
35 GPD for 5 days
32.5 GPD for 1 week
30 GPD for 1 week
27.5 GPD for 1 week
25 GPD for 1 week
22.5 GPD for 1 week
20 GPD for 1 week
18 GPD for 1 week
16 GPD for 1 week
14 GPD for 1 week
12 GPD for 1 week
10 GPD for 1 week
8 GPD for 1 week
6 GPD for 1 week
4 GPD for 1 week
2 GPD for 1 week
Jump

That would keep me at 5 doses/day and just lower the amount per dose as I go. I like frequent dosing. Averaged 8-10 doses per day until a week ago.

I’m considering making the drop from around 10–12 GPD to zero stretch longer, even if that means cutting more time off the front end or moving a little faster earlier so I can stay within the 4 month deadline.

My thinking is that the low-dose end is likely where things get more mentally and physically uncomfortable.

For context, a year ago tapered from over 100 GPD down to 16 GPD before over about 3 months, but that was only for a surgery. At the time, I had no intention of fully quitting, so I never jumped all the way off.

This time I’m committed to taking it all the way to zero.

If for some reason I truly cannot do it this way, I’ll explore other options, but my goal is to taper off if possible.

I’m obviously hoping to avoid or at least minimize acute withdrawals and reduce the severity of PAWS (which is actually my biggest concern)

Even though Kratom has kept me a slave it to for year, made me isolate, be sneaky, and blocked me from the sunlight of the Spirit, I function at a high-level on Kratom (great career, time with family, exercise 365 days a year at 630AM, get in sunlight right when it comes out, eat 10-15 Kinds of fruits and vegetables a day plus a boatload of protein, etc etc)

I am hoping to minimize PAWS throwing my daily routines off. Though I understand completely sidestepping this is HIGHLY unlikely. Hopefully all the good routines/habits I have will help.

Does this taper look reasonable for what I am trying to do?

I have to be off completely in 4 months for reasons I won’t get into

Would you slow down more near the end?

ANY AND ALL advice is appreciated, especially from people who have successfully tapered all the way off.
