Upgrading from 5700xt to 9070xt.

So, I think the time has really come to say goodbye to my biggest love which is 5700xt.

I’m looking for a quick sanity check before buying.
My current PC is:
Ryzen 5 5600
ASUS B550-PLUS
RX 5700 XT 8GB
32GB DDR4 RAM
Modecom Volcano Bronze 650W PSU

I’m looking to buy Gigabyte RX 9070 XT Gaming 16GB and I’m considering pairing it with an MSI MAG A850GL 850W PSU.

I would like to play mostly newer AAA games at 1440p and would like to run High/Ultra settings comfortably for the next few years. I’m not planning to move to AM5 yet, so I’d keep the 5600 for now.
.
Would this be a sensible upgrade, or would the Ryzen 5 5600 hold the 9070 XT back too much at 1440p? Is it worth going for the 9070 XT, or would you rather buy something cheaper and wait until a full platform upgrade later? The thing is, I want similar GPU to 5700xt when it comes to longevity.

Thanks guys
