Will I really regret pulling Changli ?

So I just started Wuwa for my friend, and I tried the characters for beginner and really like Changli’s gameplay. I think she’s really pretty and I started the quest with Jinshi I really like her.

But my friend told me all 1.x characters were pretty much dead in the meta and I shouldn’t bother pulling her. I’m not really a big meta player, but I still want my characters to do some damage. I heard she was rerunning next patch and won’t come back for a while, so I really don’t know if I should take her or not…

I really like her but at the same time if she’s just going to be decorations I don’t really want her so idk what to do

I’ve seen some people too saying she really wasn’t worth it, but saying some of them saying they still like playing her, I really don’t know if I should pull her

Currently I only have Shorekeeper and Rebecca as limited char and Verina for the free standard.
I don’t really plan on pulling anyone besides maybe the guy with heterophobia (Jingran ? Forgot ) and the mecha pink hair girl since my friend told me I’ll like her too, but I don’t plan on getting Lupa(? I think that’s here name, wolf girl), only maybe Brant but idk, I think these two are her best team but I won’t get Lupa
