Can I represent myself during a ALR hearing? Please I need advice
I was arrested for a DWI in Johnson County, Texas. I refused the breath test, so law enforcement obtained a warrant for a blood draw. I have not been formally charged yet, and I believe there’s about a 70% chance that my BAC will be below the legal limit.
My ALR hearing is scheduled for July 20, and I have not retained an attorney yet. Has anyone represented themselves at an ALR hearing? If so, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience, as well as any advice or suggestions you may have. Thank you.
Please only share firsthand experiences or practical advice.
